Adventures in Bionanotechnology      
July 13–18
Gain hands-on experience in biology and nanotechnology research and discover how emerging technologies in biology and nanoscience will affect our lives. This opportunity and more is available at the internationally recognized USC NanoCenter.

Meet the Instructor

Dr. Qian Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of South Carolina. Dr. Wang received his doctoral education at Tsinghua University in China. Since arriving in the United States, Dr. Wang has pursued numerous research opportunities, notably serving as a Senior Research Associate of the Scripps Research Institute. The primary areas of his research include: Synthesis of new bionanomaterials, bionanoparticle chemistry and bioconjugation chemistry, self-assembly of nanoparticles, and combinatorial synthesis of fluorescent probes.
