Who doesn't love the great outdoors?!  Fresh air!  These ecofriendly courses are designed for all ages who enjoy learning about plants, animals, gardening, landscaping, and what we can do to preserve mother earth.  Our goal is to provide the classroom and hands on experience, learning from the experts!




Exploring Secrets of the Old Pendleton District: Where the Water Falls from the Mountains

Come explore South Carolina's far Northwest -- the ancient frontier with the Cherokees and land of waterfalls -- and home of some of S.C.'s best stories: Stumphouse Tunnel, the "Electric City," Pendleton's early "spa" community" and more.

Exploring the Lower Pee Dee: Plantations and Mansions, Classic Architecture and Great Stories

Visit the cotton and tobacco region of the lower Pee Dee River (parts of Florence and Marion Counties, S.C.). Local experts will showcase private properties of civic, residential and church architecture.

Goodale State Park - Rudy Mancke Nature Series

Goodale State Park is a South Carolina state park located just outside Camden, SC. In addition to a 140-acre lake that is actually a Civil War era mill pond, this park also has canoe access to Pine Tree Creek.
