Conversational Spanish is designed as an introduction to or refresher of Spanish (non-credit) which focuses on vocabulary, phrases and limited grammar necessary for fundamental communication skills. This course will be interactive and fun. Upon completing this course, participants should be able to master exchanging greetings, ask and answer basic questions, give their identity, and name a number of familiar objects, as well as many other basic skills related to travel, food, shopping and more!

About the Instructor - Andrew Corley
Andrew M. Corley is a Spanish instructor in the Department of Language, Literatures and Cultures at USC. He is working on a PhD in Language and Literacy and his research interests include working with Learners of English as their Second Language, Multicultural Education and Foreign Language Education. Mr. Corley is a native of Edgefield, South Carolina and has studied at Clemson University, The University of South Carolina and at Universidad San Francisco in Quito, Ecuador. Professor Corley first began teaching college Spanish in 1997 at USC.
